Become a Flora Explorer by searching for special plants along the way. Learn how to identify common native plants with a Parks Victoria Ranger while exploring the Shepparton Regional Park.
Please wear closed toed non-slip footwear (no thongs or sandals). Bring a hat, sunscreen, water bottle and clothing appropriate for the weather.
Directions: Please meet rangers at Jordan’s Bend, located off Jordan Place, Shepparton. Look for the Junior Ranger signs. There are no toilets at this location, so please go before you come. The nearest public toilets are located at Queens Gardens, Welsford St, Shepparton.
All Junior Ranger activities are suitable for children age 6-12 years, who must be accompanied by a parent or guardian who is 18 years or over. Activities may be rescheduled, changed or cancelled due to adverse weather or for emergency response.

The Visitor Centre, located at 530 Wyndham Street, Shepparton, (Ground floor, SAM building) is your first stop for information on things to see and do and where to stay while in Greater Shepparton. Providing quality information and brochures on accommodation, attractions, events and activities, the friendly staff and volunteers have the expert knowledge to make your stay in the region a memorable one.
Open: 9.00am to 5.00pm everyday except Christmas Day.
