In this session we will:

  • Understand the vital role connection plays for a young person in creating trusting relationships
  • Empower you with many useful strategies, tools and activities to help create solid foundations for connection, and begin mending disconnect in the home
  • How to disagree in a way that will build resilience and connection with your young person
  • Highlight the power of parental vulnerability and how to encourage your young person to want to connect with you on a deeper level

About the Presenter

Kritz Sciessere is the co-founder of The Big Sister Experience, a life education program that saves the lives of young people. Coming from the classroom, Kritz has many years teaching experience behind her. Kritz uses this teaching experience, her qualification as a mental health first aider, her ongoing work with young people, along with her own life lessons to share relatable, authentic and research-based programs throughout Australia on nurturing happy young people with a focus on mental health and wellbeing.
