Experience the beauty of brass and wind music with a concert showcasing local talent.

Members of the Shepparton Brass and Wind are set to delight local audiences with their annual concert at Eastbank.

Shepparton Brass and Wind perform regularly in the community at a variety of festivals and events. Many previous members have gone on to become professional musicians.

The program includes:

  • Barnard Castle - Goff Richards
  • On A Hymnsong of Philip Bliss - David H. Holsinger
  • It Had Better Be Tonight - Henery Mancini arrangement Michael Brown
  • Driven - David P Jones

Solo items from members of the ensemble:

  • Illuminations - Saxophone Solo
  • All Those Endearing Young Charms - Euphonium Solo
  • A Trumpeters Lullaby - Trumpet Solo
  • Romance - French Horn Solo
  • L-O-V-E - Vocal Solo
  • In A Gentle Rain - Flute Solo

The concert will be rounded out with some crowd favourites including:

  • Glenn Miller in Concert - arrangement Paul Murtha
  • Sing, Sing, Sing - Louis Prima arrangement Victor Lopez
  • Fanfare for the Common Man - Aaron Copland arrangement Robert Longfield
