River Country Adventours offer a wide range of tours and adventures including Outback Flights, Canoe Safaris on the Goulburn River, and Eco-Tourism and Heritage Tours throughout Victoria.

For groups large and small, our day trips and extended tours are suitable for people of all ages.

These day and half-day tours are available for the many groups of people and partners attending business seminars and conventions in the City of Greater Shepparton. All tours delve into the colourful history and heritage of the district as well as taking a closer look at the unique environment, and will visit some leading local wineries.

Shepparton & District Tours

  1. Barmah Experience
    Coach tour to the wetland on the Murray River, 2-hour cruise on “Kingfisher”.
  2. Canoeing
    Half-day and full day paddling on the Goulburn River. Safaris & camping available.
  3. Wines of the Valley
    Mystery winery tour. The tour will visit at least 4-leading Central Victorian vineyards. Itinerary and quote on application.
  4. Gold & Iron Bark (half day)
    This tour delves into the history of the gold rush in Victoria 1851-1870, is easy paced and available for groups and people looking for a nature based escorted outing, fun and friendly.

The Visitor Centre, located at 33 Nixon Street, Shepparton, is your first stop for information on things to see and do and where to stay while in Greater Shepparton. Providing quality information and brochures on accommodation, attractions, events and activities, the friendly staff and volunteers have the expert knowledge to make your stay in the region a memorable one.

Please note: The Visitor Centre is open for walk-in enquiries 10.00am to 3.00pm every day. Staff are available to assist by phone, email and social media 9.00am to 5.00pm every day.
