Having been in the wine business for decades, the Phillips family are passionate about the excellent wines produced in the region and showcase over 50 local wines.
The business was established 1979 as a family owned company operated by the Phillips family.
The Phillips family previously owned and operated the Hotel Australia in central Shepparton, for 35 years, then in 1979 purchased the property known as the Goulburn Valley Winery, situated at 52 Vaughan St Shepparton. It was here that wine was made until 1990.
The business is now headed up by Paul Phillips who has a broad knowledge of wines and winemaking, he has previously conducted wine appreciation courses and is a member of local wine and food clubs.
In our Regional Wine Centre we display and promote over 50 local wines from the Goulburn Valley, Heathcote, Strathbogie Ranges, King Valley & Rutherglen regions, the flagship varietal is Shiraz. The regions also offer other fantastic varietals such as Durif, Sangiovese, Tempranillo, Pinot Grigio, Reisling, Chardonnay, Vermentino, Gruner Veltliner, Rose and Prosecco.
