After some free / cheap things to keep the kids entertained? Here's some of Visit Shepparton's top suggestions.
1. Play at a great playground
How about visiting one of our great playgrounds with a picnic:
- SPC Kidstown
- All Abilities Playground at Victoria Park Lake
- Riverside Gardens in Murchison
- Mactier Park in Tatura
2. Spend the day on a rail trail
3. Get out and walk, walk, walk!
Did you know we have some of the best walking tracks in Australia right here in Shepparton?
4. Go to the movies
Unwind, kick back and take a break for a couple of hours, you deserve it! Village Cinemas is right in the centre of town with airconditioning and the frozen drinks are on tap!
With home-made chocolate and caramel apples on a stick you can't go wrong. OK, you may end up spending some money here, but it's worth every penny!
6. Shepparton Skatepark
If your kids are little daredevils, you can take them to the skate park to try out all their tricks on wheels. With a brand new playground right next to it everyone can be entertained for hours.
7. Round up the herd!
That's right cowboys and cowgirls, it's time to explore our famous Moooving Art herd - we're yet to find a child who doesn't love them.
Get outdoors and enjoy the spring weather and a new generation botanical experience at the Australian Botanical Gardens.
Perfect for walking, cycling, picnics, fishing, bird watching and outdoor games.
10. Explore some Arts & Culture
