The Historical Society of Mooroopna Inc., was established in 1983 to collect, preserve and display items of importance to the history of Mooroopna and District. We have recorded histories of families, individuals, businesses, organisations, industrial, agriculture and horticulture. We have early newspapers, maps, documents and heirloom clothes. Our building is the former Grutzner House nursing home. Our medical collection is the largest in country Victoria.

Every Wednesday 11.00am - 3.00pm; Every Sunday 1.30pm - 4.00pm or by appointment

Directions: Turn north at McDonalds in Mooroopna along Elizabeth St., and at the first street, turn right into Park St. We are on the right about 100 yards from turn. We are at the rear if what was the Mooroopna Base Hospital.
