The Steller Victorian Open is Victoria’s largest lawn bowls tournament. The event sees close to 2000 domestic and international bowls descend on regional Victoria for eight days of competition.
20 clubs throughout the Greater Shepparton region run events across the week, with Shepparton Park Bowls Club the host venue and location for the finals.
The Steller Victorian Open provides a unique opportunity for every level of bowler to challenge themselves and their fellow competitors in a professional environment.
Both men and women play for a slice of a $50,000 prize-purse, as well as the Vic Medal which is awarded to the best-performed bowler of the tournament across the event’s four disciplines: Singles, Paris, Triples and Mixed Pairs.
The Steller Victorian Open is open to all bowlers associated with a State or Territory Association that is affiliated to Bowls Australia, or affiliated to an international body that is a member of World Bowls.
There is no pre-qualification and entry is open to bowlers from anywhere around the world. The Steller Victorian Open is a Bowls Australia ranked event.
