Following a sell-out season of The Nutcracker, Moscow Ballet La Classique returns to Australia with Ballet's most loved fairy tale, Sleeping Beauty.

With its artistic ballet mastery, lavish costumes and magnificent stage sets, the illustrious La Classique will take audiences on a magical journey to the fairy tale world of princess Aurora, the Sleeping Beauty.

Sleeping Beauty tells the story of a beautiful princess, Aurora, who spends her days in a deep sleep after being cursed to death by a needle prick from Carabosse, the evil fairy. 

While Aurora is under her curse, Prince Deserea, encounters the Lilac fairy, where he finds the princess of his dream, Princess Aurora the Sleeping Beauty. He kisses her gently back to life, lifting the curse. 

A fairy tale party takes place and the whole kingdom joins in the celebration of Princess Aurora and Price Deserea's wedding. 

Moscow Ballet La Classique invites the whole family to an evening of spectacular ballet, capturing the imagination, the passion and the magic of Sleeping Beauty.
