Set against the vast landscape of world conflict from World War One to contemporary times, four women unite across a century to share their personal stories of active service in the military.

Follow the journeys of Lilian, Mary, Tam and Catherine, united in their determination to utilise their skills in the field of medicine on active service within the military.

Hallowed Ground is inspired by personal diaries, historical documents, face to face interviews and in particular a unique ongoing collaboration with Professor Susan Neuhaus, who served as a surgeon in Afghanistan, with her career spanning over twenty years.

Together they share moments of hope and humour that punctuate the otherwise harrowing task of conflict medicine. Poignant and authentic, Hallowed Ground will appeal to audiences from teens to senior citizens.
