The Grow Shepp project engages students from Industrial Design, Architecture and Landscape Architecture with complex community problems. Utilising co-design tactics, systems thinking intervention, on the ground learning and cross disciplinary rigour, this teaching model demonstrates to students an industry and community led approach to community engagement and co-design. The Industrial Design program has been working with key stakeholders in Shepparton, Victoria for six months studying ways to reimagine the food system as a "food hub".

The project involves creation of masterplans, business models and service activation plans based on the local engagement of Industry and Non-for-profit stakeholders towards developing a former industrial site as an on-going Innovation, Enterprise and Cultural District around Food Innovation.
