Greater Shepparton City Council, in association with the Greater Shepparton Heritage Advisory Committee, is pleased to announce the Greater Shepparton Heritage Open Day to be held on Saturday, 28 October 2017. A launch event will take place one month earlier, on Thursday 28 September 2017 at 10.30am in the Queen’s Gardens, Shepparton.

The day aims to increase awareness of Greater Shepparton’s diverse and unique range of heritage places, and encourage pride in and understanding of this heritage. We invite residents to join us to enjoy a pleasant heritage-focused day out.

The Heritage Open Day, conducted by the Greater Shepparton Heritage Advisory Committee in conjunction with Council, will be a free event held throughout the municipality on Saturday, 28 October 2017 between 10am and 4pm.

A launch event will take place one month earlier, on Thursday 28 September 2017 at 10.30am in the Queen’s Gardens, Shepparton. In attendance will be Cr Dinny Adem, Mayor of Greater Shepparton City Council; Council representatives; and members of the Greater Shepparton Heritage Advisory Committee.

A booklet will be available at the launch event, listing venues and details, booking procedures for the walks, bus tours and any other events which need to be booked, and giving further general information. This booklet is also available for download below.
