The Orchestra will perform a series of free Sunday afternoon Chamber Concerts, in September.
Members of the Orchestra will perform in smaller groups every Sunday afternoon for three weeks, providing music lovers with plenty of variety while showcasing the region’s finest instrumentalists and musicians.
This year, the Orchestra will feature past and present members performing as soloists or in small ensembles, with a different programme for each concert.
Greater Shepparton City Council Manager Performing Arts and Conventions Ken Cameron said, “We’re excited to be offering these free concerts once again and hope that the community continue to support them.”
“Each Sunday program is varied with something for everybody. The musicians have spent a lot of their spare time rehearsing so we’re looking forward to giving them the opportunity to play.”
The series is proudly presented by Goulburn Valley Concert Orchestra in partnership with Riverlinks.
Make a day of it, visit Eastbank Café for Sunday lunch or a coffee prior to the performance.
